Job Description:
As a Senior Electrical & Electronic Engineer, you will be responsible for the schematic capture and PCB layout for DC-DC converters, analog circuits, and microprocessor controlled applications, as well as simple hand soldering or board rework. Besides, you will provide guidance and advisory to the junior engineers in relevant field. You are expected to have strong electronics background and work exposure in manufacturing and relevant field.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Technical ownership i.e. participate in the development of electrical design through the entire development cycle of the fuel cell system including the system monitoring, electrical power conditioning, control signal conveyance, electrical interfaces and their interactions with mechanical subsystems
Provide engineering support for software engineering and programming corresponding SW if necessary
Design and layout of new PCBs for DC-DC converters, analog circuits, and microprocessor controlled applications
Work on simple hand-soldering skills for working on early board revisions
Work on embedded controller applications implementation. Applications may involve a user-interface setup using LabView
Involve in system control development of PEM fuel cell and electrolyser prototypes
Work closely with cross-functional team to achieve assigned project or targes within boundaries of time, cost and quality
Provide guidance to junior engineers on the technical part of the relevant field
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably Electrical and Electronics.
Minimum 5 years of experiences in relevant field.
Experience with building & troubleshooting mixed digital & analog PCBs, DC-DC converters
Experience with Altium or equivalent such as KiCad
Knowledge in C programming of microcontrollers
Knowledge in Labview is an added advantage
Skill in simple hand soldering / board rework capabilities for prototyping is desirable
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skill; candidates must find the work ‘fun’ and enjoy being accountable
